Vaporesso GTX Replacement Coils (5-Pack)

Genuine Vaporesso GTX coils, the push-fit mesh coils used in the Luxe XR, Luxe XR Max, Target PM80, Swag PX80, GTX Go, Armour G and GEN PT series. GTX-2 coils are the same fit. These are not GTi coils (for the iTank, Armour Ultra and GEN 200) or GT Cores (for the NRG tank); shop GTi coils or GT Cores instead.

GTX is Vaporesso's universal pod and small-tank coil platform. One coil family covers everything from a tight mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw on a 1.2Ω coil to a full direct-to-lung (DTL) cloud on a 0.15Ω. That's why the same coils turn up in more than a dozen Vaporesso kits.

The one catch is power. Low-wattage pods only support the higher-resistance GTX coils, so check the compatibility list below before picking a sub-ohm option.

GTX vs GTi vs GT Cores

Vaporesso uses three coil platforms that don't interchange. GTX coils are for pods and small tanks (this page). GTi coils are larger, high-wattage coils for the iTank, iTank T, Armour Ultra and GEN 200. GT Cores are the older screw-in coils for the NRG, Cascade and SKRR tanks.

How to Replace a GTX Coil

1. Remove the pod or unscrew the tank base.
2. Pull the old coil straight out.
3. Drip a few drops of e-liquid into the top of the new coil and onto the side wicking holes.
4. Press the new coil in until it seats, then fill the pod or tank.
5. Wait 5 minutes before vaping and start at the low end of the wattage range.

Vaporesso GTX Coils FAQ

Do GTX coils fit the Luxe XR and Luxe XR Max?
Yes. The XR Max takes every GTX coil. The standard Luxe XR pod takes the 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω.

What's the difference between GTX and GTX-2 coils?
GTX-2 was a later revision with the same size and fit. Any device that takes GTX coils takes GTX-2.

Which GTX coil is best for MTL?
The 1.2Ω Mesh (8–12W) gives the tightest, most cigarette-like draw. The 0.8Ω (12–16W) is a little looser and warmer.

How long do GTX coils last?
Usually 5–10 days. Very sweet e-liquids and running at the top of the wattage range shorten coil life. If coils are burning out in 2–3 days, drop the wattage and let new coils prime longer.

Will GTX coils fit my iTank or Armour Ultra?
No. Those use GTi coils.
