Shipping policy

Everything you need to know about how we process, ship, and deliver your order — including delivery expectations, shipping options, and Shipping Protection coverage.

Shipping Rates

We offer free and calculated shipping options at checkout:

  • Free Ground Shipping on all domestic orders over $89 (after discounts). 
  • Orders under $89 will ship via Ground for a low flat fee of $8.95.
  • Faster shipping options, including Priority Mail and Express Mail, are available at checkout.

Order Processing & Handling Times

  • Orders placed before 1:00 PM EST (Monday–Friday) typically ship the same business day.
  • Orders placed after 1:00 PM EST, weekends, or holidays ship the next business day.
  • During peak periods, processing times may vary slightly.

Delivery timelines begin once the carrier has received your package — not when the order is placed.


Estimated Delivery Times

Domestic Shipping

  • Ground Shipping: 2–8 business days
  • Priority Mail: 1–4 business days
  • Express Mail: 1–2 business days

International Shipping

  • First Class International: 7–25 business days
  • Priority Mail International: 6–10 business days
  • Express Mail International: 3–5 business days

International delivery times may vary due to customs processing and local carrier delays. In some cases, delivery may take up to 30 business days.


Shipping Protection

Strongly Recommended

Optional Coverage — 3% of Your Order Total

Shipping Protection covers your order while it is in transit — from the moment it leaves our facility until the carrier marks it as delivered. Coverage includes:

  • Packages lost in transit
  • Packages damaged during transit
Coverage Limit: Shipping Protection applies while your package is in transit only. Once a carrier marks your package as delivered, coverage ends. Lost, stolen, or missing packages reported after a delivery confirmation are not covered and must be addressed directly with the carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.).

If Shipping Protection is selected and a qualifying claim is approved, we will provide:

  • A replacement shipment, or
  • Store credit, at no additional cost

Shipping Protection applies to product value and domestic shipping costs. International shipping costs are not covered.


Delivered but Not Received

If tracking shows your package as delivered but you cannot locate it:

  1. Please check with:
    • Household members
    • Neighbors
    • Apartment or leasing office
    • Local carrier or Post Office
  2. Allow up to 48 hours, as carriers may occasionally mark packages delivered before final drop-off.

Once a package is marked delivered by the carrier, SmokTek's responsibility for that shipment ends, regardless of whether Shipping Protection was selected. Packages reported missing after a delivery confirmation are not eligible for replacement, refund, or store credit. Any post-delivery issues — including theft or non-receipt — must be reported to the carrier directly.


Uninsured Shipments (No Protection Selected)

By declining Shipping Protection, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Responsibility transfers to you once the order is shipped.
  • SmokTek is not liable for lost, stolen, damaged, or misdelivered packages.
  • No replacements, refunds, or credits will be issued for delivery-related issues.

Carrier Responsibility & Delivery Delays

Once your order is accepted by the carrier, it is considered in transit and under the carrier's control.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Weather conditions
  • Carrier volume or routing issues
  • Service disruptions

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout.

  • We are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrectly entered addresses.
  • If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping fees will apply to resend.

High-Value Orders & Delivery Safety

To help ensure safe delivery:

  • Some orders may require signature confirmation upon delivery.
  • Customers are responsible for selecting a secure delivery location.

We strongly recommend shipping to a location where someone can safely receive the package.


Returns & Refunds (Shipping-Related)

Shipping-related issues require Shipping Protection.

If your insured order arrives damaged in transit, we will offer:

  • A replacement shipment, or
  • Store credit

Orders shipped without Shipping Protection are not eligible for refunds or replacements due to shipping issues.


International Orders

Customs, Duties & Taxes

International orders may be subject to:

  • Import duties
  • Taxes (VAT)
  • Customs fees

These charges are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the customer.

We recommend checking your country's import regulations before placing an order.

International Shipping Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Customs delays or seizures
  • Lost or damaged international shipments
  • Packages refused due to import fees or regulations

Refused international packages may be subject to:

  • A $15 restocking fee
  • Additional shipping costs if reshipment is requested

We currently ship to the following regions:

Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States, New Zealand

 

Shipping availability is confirmed at checkout and may change due to service disruptions

Claims & Abuse Prevention

To maintain fair pricing and prevent abuse:

  • Claims may require verification.
  • We may request additional information before approving a claim.
  • Repeated "missing package" claims may be denied.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service in cases of suspected fraud or abuse.
