The 3D curved screen tells you where you are: current nicotine level, battery percentage, and how much e-liquid is left. The light strips down both sides change color to match the level, so you can check it without looking at the screen. Green, teal, blue, purple, red, in that order.
Underneath the styling it is a solid device. A UNIONE triple mesh coil keeps flavor consistent instead of fading as the pod empties. The 900mAh battery runs two to three days for most people and charges over USB-C, and you can keep vaping while it is plugged in. Airflow adjusts with a slider on the bottom, from a tight mouth-to-lung pull to something more open. The mouthpiece is soft TPU, so it does not dig into your lip like hard plastic does.
How the five nicotine levels work
Press the button marked X to step through the five levels. The screen updates to show which one you are on, and the side lighting changes color to match. Level 1 is the mildest setting. Level 5 is the strongest.
Levels 1 and 2 run in ECO mode, where OXBAR rates the device at up to 50,000 puffs. Levels 3, 4, and 5 run in Boost mode, rated at up to 25,000 puffs. Stronger levels give you more per puff and use e-liquid and battery faster. That is the trade-off, and it is a fair one.
If you want to go all the way down to zero nicotine, the Oxbar Nic Switch steps between 0%, 1%, 3%, and 5% instead.

Common Questions
How many puffs will I get?
OXBAR rates the Astro Maze at up to 50,000 puffs in ECO mode, which is levels 1 and 2, and up to 25,000 in Boost mode, which is levels 3 through 5. Where you land depends on which levels you run and how long your draws are.
Which level should I start on?
Start at 1 or 2. Most people settle around 2, which gives you decent warmth and flavor without getting harsh. Levels 4 and 5 are strong, so work up to them rather than starting there.
Does it need charging?
Yes. There is far more e-liquid in it than one battery charge can vaporize, so you will recharge it several times before the pod runs dry. You can keep vaping while it charges. USB-C cable is not included.
Can I refill it?
No. It is a sealed disposable. When the 14mL of e-liquid runs out, the device is done.
Is the airflow separate from the nicotine levels?
Yes, they are independent. The slider on the bottom changes how tight or open the draw feels; the button changes the nicotine level. You can run a tight draw on level 5 or an open draw on level 1.
