Genuine Eleaf GTL replacement coils for the GTL Pod Tank, GTL X Tank, Pico Compaq, iSolo Air series and iJust AIO, D20 and P40. They also fit the tank in our iStick Pico Plus 75W Kit with GTL X Tank. GTL coils are wider than Eleaf's older GT coils, and they are not the same as Eleaf EC coils, which screw into Melo and iJust 2 tanks. Not sure which you have? Look at the name printed on your current coil. If it says GTL, these fit.

GTL is Eleaf's push-fit coil platform for pod tanks and compact pod mods. There are no threads: the coil presses straight into the pod or tank base, so a swap takes seconds and you don't get e-liquid on your fingers.

The three resistances cover everything from a tight cigarette-style draw to a loose restricted lung hit. The 1.2Ω is the mouth-to-lung (MTL) coil for nic salts. The 0.8Ω sits in the middle and works for salts or freebase. The 0.4Ω mesh coil runs hotter for a looser, airier draw and bigger vapor, and pairs best with lower-nicotine freebase e-liquid. Each pack holds five coils of the resistance you choose.

Which GTL Resistance Should I Choose?

• GTL 1.2Ω (7–13W) – Tight MTL draw, closest to a cigarette. Best for nic salts and higher-nicotine e-liquid.
• GTL 0.8Ω (12–18W) – Slightly looser and warmer. Works with nic salts or freebase.
• GTL 0.4Ω Mesh (20–30W) – Restricted direct lung with more vapor. Use lower-nicotine freebase e-liquid.

GTL vs GTL-D vs GT Coils

GTL-D coils (0.8Ω and 1.2Ω) are the upgraded mesh coils that ship in the GTL X Tank. The GTL X accepts standard GTL coils too, so these work as replacements there. GTL-D coils are built for the GTL X specifically. Eleaf's older GT coils are a narrower, different size and will not fit any GTL tank or pod.

How to Replace a GTL Coil

1. Remove the pod or unscrew the tank base, depending on your device.
2. Pull the old coil straight out.
3. Drip a few drops of e-liquid into the top of the new coil and onto the wicking holes.
4. Press the new coil in firmly until it seats.
5. Fill, wait 5 minutes, and start at the low end of the coil's wattage range.

Eleaf GTL Coils FAQ

Do these coils fit the iStick Pico Plus Kit with GTL X Tank?
Yes. The iStick Pico Plus GTL X kit ships with GTL-D coils, and Eleaf lists the GTL X as compatible with all GTL coils. The 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω are the closest match to the coils it comes with.

What coils does the Eleaf Pico Compaq use?
GTL coils. The Pico Compaq's pod takes all three resistances on this page.

Which GTL coil is best for nic salts?
The 1.2Ω. The 0.8Ω also works with salts if you want a slightly warmer, looser hit.

Are GTL and GT coils interchangeable?
No. GTL coils are wider and only fit GTL tanks and pods.

My 0.8Ω coil reads a little lower on my device. Is it defective?
No. A small variance from the printed resistance is normal for factory coils and doesn't affect performance.

How long does a GTL coil last?
Usually several days to two weeks. Sweet e-liquids, high wattage and skipping the prime shorten coil life the most.
